Open Source Projects

Stokker Technologies publishes the parts of its own stack that others can build on. Every project is written in a modern language and released under MIT OR Apache-2.0 in one GitLab group. Each entry here is the short account; the project page behind it carries the long one.

Entry 01

Harmos

One Ordered History Under a Whole Application.

Harmos is the Rust runtime we wrote so that undo, autosave, crash recovery, audit, background work, and plugins stop being rebuilt in every project. Every change to application state goes through one ordered journal, and each of those facilities reads that journal instead of keeping a copy of its own.

  • Undo and redo over real application state, not over a widget stack.
  • Autosave and crash recovery off the journal, with no second save path to keep in step.
  • An audit trail that can still account for a change months later.
  • Background jobs and plugins that observe the same ordered history.

Entry 02

Dokime

Repeatable Test Procedures, and the Evidence They Leave.

Dokime runs hardware and software test procedures, records everything that happened while they ran, and hands back a report. One interface covers authoring a procedure, running it on the bench, and keeping what the run produced.

  • Procedures an engineer authors by naming what each step does.
  • Runs a tester can start without reading any source.
  • A record of every measurement, instrument, and operator a run touched.
  • Instrument and step plugins written against a published SDK.
